01

Overview

Aquira Labs (Part of Beef Up Media LLP) (“Aquira Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds diagnostic and educational tools for financial advisory firms. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the services we provide, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02

Who we are

Aquira Labs is a trading division of Beef Up Media LLP. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at hi@aquiralabs.com. We act as the data controller for information collected through this website.

03

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our business:

  • Information you provide. When you email us, book a free consultation, or begin a discovery engagement, we receive your name, email address, firm details, and anything else you choose to share.
  • Usage information. Standard technical data such as your device type, browser, approximate location (from IP), and the pages you view, used to keep the site secure and understand what’s useful.
  • Cookies. Small files that support core site functionality and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics. See Cookies & analytics.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, login credentials, or uploaded financial documents through this website.

04

The interactive demo

The demo at /demo runs entirely in your browser using hardcoded sample data for a fictional prospect. It makes no server calls, performs no processing on our systems, and collects no information about you. Nothing you view in the demo is transmitted, stored, or logged by us.

05

How we use information

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule consultation calls
  • Provide, operate, and improve our services
  • Send you information you request and, where permitted, relevant updates you can opt out of at any time
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the site
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

For visitors in the EEA or UK, our legal bases are consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations.

06

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies required for the site to function, and we use PostHog for privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the site. PostHog processes this usage data on our behalf as a service provider. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

07

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under contracts that limit their use of it. Examples include website hosting, product analytics (PostHog), scheduling, and email delivery providers. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.

08

Diagnostics we build for clients

When we build a diagnostic for an advisory firm and that firm deploys it under its own brand, the firm is the data controller for the information end-users enter into their diagnostic. Aquira Labs acts as a processor on that firm’s behalf, handling data only as instructed and under a written agreement. Those end-users should refer to the advisory firm’s own privacy notice.

09

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal and contractual obligations, and to resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

10

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. To make a request, email hi@aquiralabs.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.

12

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required.

13

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be made prominent on this page.
